bored

so i havent had any work to do this semester for some reason and i have been really bored. i started to fool around with my macbook and learned that there are so many cool features on this laptop. once again, i feel that i don't need have of these awesome applications but once i get into them i cannot see how life can go on without them. i feel that apple really flourished in the last couple of years. they are coming out with new products that do not even seem necessary, mainly the ipad. once i read about this new idea i could not believe it. apple has done it again. you can do everything on this new invention. from reading the news paper to checking you emails this truly is a necessity. i cannot wait to see what other big idea apple will come out with next. technology is truly taking over our lives.

facebook is my drug

The other day i went on the computer to listen to a song on itunes. I must of had alot on my mind that day because i then realized that i was on facebook. This is a serious problem and is turning into a communication breakdown. I am starting to fear a life without facebook. I seems so unnecessary but at the same time so addicting. Facebook is my drug. I am an avid facebook user as well as thousands of other weak teenagers my age. I hope to one day get over the fad of facebook and live a normal life once again. I fear that this dangerous obsession is becoming so addicting that it will one day surpass the pokemon fad of 1999 - 2001... and we all know how deadly that virus was.   

social media

After reading about all of this social media stuff, i begin to realize how many different websites that enable people to communicate with each other. I think this is a very good idea, to a certain extent. If people are cooped up in their rooms all day blogging or constantly on facebook they are going to be social awkward. As a communications major i am being taught that personal experiences are very important. The cell phone and the internet is breaking down the communication etiquette. Decades from now i strongly believe that people are not going to no how to speak to each other in person.
